Tutorial: FanAngel Connect & Fundraising: A Seamless Integration

Welcome, coaches and team administrators! This guide demonstrates the powerful and seamless integration between the FanAngel Connect team management platform and our robust Fundraising platform.

This integration is designed to make managing your campaign effortless for you, and participating in it incredibly simple for your athletes.

Part 1: The Coach's View - Accessing Your Campaign Dashboard

As a coach or admin, you can jump directly from your team management page to your fundraising dashboard with a single click.

Step 1: Navigate to Your Team Settings - Start by logging into your FanAngel account and navigating to your team's main page, where you manage settings, members, and schedules.

Step 2: Click the "Fundraising" Tab In the main navigation menu for your team, click on the Fundraising tab.

Step 3: You're In! That's it! You will be instantly and automatically logged into your FanAngel Fundraising campaign dashboard. All the tools to manage your fundraiser's goal, title, and progress are right there. No need to open a new site or enter another password.

Part 2: The Athlete's View - Engaging with the Fundraiser in the App

The real power of this integration is how simple it makes it for your athletes to be active and effective participants directly from the FanAngel Connect mobile app.

Step 1: Select the Team From the "My Teams" home screen in the app, the athlete taps on the team that is running the fundraiser.

Step 2: Go to "My Fundraiser" On the team's main menu, the athlete will see a prominent My Fundraiser button. Tapping this takes them to their personal fundraising hub.

Step 3: Use the Fundraising Tools Inside their hub, athletes have all the tools they need to be successful:

• Add new supporter: Manually enter the contact information for potential donors.
• Share or text your page: An easy way to get their personal donation page out to friends and family.
• PDF Flyer w/ QR code: Generate a printable flyer with a unique QR code for in-person fundraising efforts.
• Add supporters from past campaign: A huge time-saver that allows athletes to re-engage donors from previous years.

Step 4: Stay on Track with Notifications The app keeps fundraising top-of-mind by sending helpful push notifications directly to the athlete's phone. These automated reminders prompt athletes to share their page on social media, notify them when the campaign is nearing its end, and encourage them to add more supporters. This is far more effective than relying on email alone.
